i played a key role in migrating our legacy platform to the cloud. i designed and implemented solutions to transition on-premises services to a kubernetes cluster in docker, using helm charts. additionally, i was responsible for configuring logging, tracing, and metrics using technologies such as prometheus, elasticsearch, grafana, and jaeger. i implemented traefik for simplicity in service routing. i also established multiple ci/cd processes and pipelines within azure devops.

during this time i modernized our data visualization capabilities by transitioning away from visifire charts and replacing them with a fully-integrated web-based solution. i was responsible for implementing highcharts, the crosstab, and other interactive frontend modules to improve the user experience. additionally, i took on the task of migrating from a homebrewed solution to react while refreshing the frontend design of the web version of the platform, to improve its maintainability, aesthetic appeal, and usability.
